We need true friends who will point us to Jesus.

God is real and what He says in His Word is true. We all go through some things in life that feel like more than we can bear. People will fail you. Circumstances will disappoint. Your best won’t be enough. But God will never forget you. His way won’t always avoid the pain or the loss. But He will get you to the other side.

Letters
from a friend.

Hi there! I’m Leslee. I’m a mom of three, married to my college sweetheart, a dog mom, an outdoor enthusiast, amateur gardener, lifelong runner, and an avid reader. However, first and foremost, I’m a Christian. Over many decades of following Christ, I have learned that His promises are true. He has been my deliverer (Psalm 34:17), healer of my hurts (Psalm 147:3), my refuge in times of trouble (Deuteronomy 33:27), the light in my darkest nights (Psalm 119:105), and forgiver of my sin (Psalm 32:1). And so much more!

This is why, even though I enjoy talking about my hobbies, I
love encouraging other women in their walk with the Lord and sharing about what He is doing in my life. We need true friends who will point us to Jesus–friends who will be open about their own struggles and speak the truth in love–even when it’s difficult.

Consider this blog like a series of letters from a friend. And I hope that as you read, you are inspired to read His Word and find strength and hope for whatever you are going through.
